Before and Afters including Bonus Shots
Brush Removal, Grading and Drain
This lot clearing project reclaimed a backyard that had been completely overtaken by thick honeysuckle, dense brush, and overgrown saplings. The dense vegetation was entirely cut back and removed to push the woodline back and open up the property. The rough ground was then roughly graded, back filled with 20 tons of topsoil to create a clean, uniform extension of the lawn that connects the back deck to the newly opened yard space. Existing drains for downspouts were also upgraded.

164' Drain, Dry Well, and Grade
This drainage project fixed a backyard plagued by severe water pooling and muddy conditions during heavy rains. The solution involved excavating trenches and installing a Heavy Duty Combination Solid/French Drain system, lined with cloth, Side-Wall Root Protector Woven Fabric, taped/glued pipes, and washed aggregate to channel groundwater away safely. Topsoil was then trucked in, back filled over the system, and graded flat across the lawn to eliminate low spots, improve drainage and quality of soil.

133' Gravel Driveway Restoration
Before the refresh, this residential gravel driveway was heavily overrun with weeds, grass, and thinning gravel patches. This made the surface uneven, discolored, and blending into the surrounding lawns. After cutting the invasive overgrowth, leveling the sub-base, and precision grading the entire stretch, we laid down a clean, uniform layer of gravel from the main roadway all the way up to the two-car garage. Take a look!

46" Oak Stump and Top Dressing
This challenging project required the removal of a massive 46-inch oak stump situated in a tight space near a deck and low hung windows. Due to the close proximity of the structure, protection boards were put up, then the stump was ground down well below grade to discourage a future termite invasion. Also a 2" topsoil dressing was spread and graded throughout the back yard after it was loosened to encourage grass growth.

Drains and Swale
We replaced a failing drain with a sump-pump and multiple downspouts tied into it, with a heavy duty PVC drainage system trenched across the lawn to route water safely away from the home. We utilized low-impact compact excavation equipment to protect the landscape. We installed a proper cleanout, taped, and glued to ensure longevity. Berm and Brush Removal for Wash-Out
This project addressed a severe drainage issue where heavy rainwater runoff was eroding the gravel driveway, causing washout, all due to overgrown brush. The transformation began with extensive clearing of the invasive brush and weeds that were trapping the water. Soil was brought in, precisely regraded to redirect the runoff away from the driving surface, creating a berm to act as a functional water barrier.
